Here you can take fantastic pictures of the symbol of Kyoto! — Sannen-zaka street is an iconic area of Kyoto City, which represent Japan’s good old days. Once there, you can’t help taking pictures of its nostalgic scenery!

The temple was purposely built near Nachi Falls, where it may have previously been a site of nature worship. — Seiganto-ji, Temple is a Tendai Buddhist temple in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. In 2004, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of a Shinto shrine. — One of Japan's most revered sites, this ancient Shinto shrine seems to float on water at high tide.

The shrine is said to venerate the divine spirits of the surrounding mountains. — Futarasan Shrine honours the gods of Mt. Nantai (Mt. Futara), a peak to the west of Nikkō.

The temple is featured on the back of the Japanese ten yen coin. — Together with its garden, the temple is a striking example of Buddhist Pure Land (Jodo) architecture and represents the Pure Land Paradise. Such a beautiful place!
